Project Scope

Graycor completed construction of a new frame sequencing center to complete truck frames manufactured in Mexico. The facility is located in the supplier park within Toyota’s new San Antonio, Texas assembly plant (Graycor completed construction of the paint and general stores building, as well as the utility zone, for Toyota’s new plant).

Work on Metalsa’s project included erection of a 98,290-square-foot pre-engineered building, in addition to site work, roads, a parking lot, underground utilities, excavation, concrete, masonry, building supply/erection/interior build-out and mechanical and electrical systems. Challenges on the project included an aggressive 20-week schedule, which left only seven weeks most of the mechanical and electrical installation and final build-out of the office. The Graycor team extended its work hours to meet the schedule deadline.
