Project Scope

MarkWest called upon Graycor to expand the Sherwood Processing Facility by constructing a seventh cryogenic gas processing plant.

The scope of work to build the 200-MMscf/d cryogenic unit included civil, electrical, instrumentation and mechanical, as well as substation construction. Graycor’s team self-performed all equipment setting, steel erection, and piping fabrication and installation. Startup and commissioning was also conducted in the project’s final stage.

Civil Scope:

  • Drill caissons: 127
  • Foundations: Over 50 varying
  • Rebar: 155 tons
  • Concrete: 3,500 cubic yards
  • Schedule: 1-10-6 for 12 weeks

Piping Installation:

  • Piping: 16,278 linear feet
  • Fabricated spools: 851
