Project Scope

RMS Investment Corporation chose Graycor to perform a $10-million renovation to Parmatown Mall located in Parma, Ohio, a south suburb of Cleveland. Renovation to the one million-square-foot mall included installation of signage, lighting and marble tile floors. Additionally, Graycor upgraded mechanical systems and mall entry features.

The mall remained fully operational throughout the renovation, with 90 percent of construction performed at night. Construction ceased during the holiday season to accommodate the increased volume of holiday customers.

The Parmatown complex includes a 1 million-square-foot enclosed mall with two major department stores, Kaufmann’s and JCPenney, as well as more than 150 small specialty stores, restaurants, a cinema and the 151,000-square-foot Parmatown Plaza Strip Center.
