Project Scope

Graycor performed civil, mechanical and structural construction for the Coker Material Terminal located at BP’s facility. The project consisted of two phases and included foundations and underground utilities, and structural, conveyors and piping.

Graycor self-performed the concrete, structural steel, piping, millwright, equipment setting and commissioning work.

Foundations and underground utilities work included the following:

182 auger cast-in-place piles:

  • 5,200yd3 of poured foundations/pile caps/access ramps
  • 3,350 feet of underground piping
  • 7,600yd2 of Asphalt paving
  • 4,400 linear feet of rail
  • New MCC room, duct banks and grounding

Structural, Conveyors and Piping:

  • 400 tons of structural steel (towers)
  • 2,331 feet of 54” conveyors (10 total)
  • 11,500 feet of service piping
  • Pump skids / equipment setting
  • Heat tracing and insulation
  • Commissioning assistance
