Project Scope

Graycor Construction Company Inc. completed construction of a 67,500-square-foot addition to BMW’s body shop in Greer, S.C. The project was performed in conjunction with joint venture partner Roebuck Buildings, a local general contractor based out of Roebuck, S.C.

Work for the auto manufacturer included concrete foundations, slab on grade, siding, roofing, loading dock equipment, fire protection, mechanical and electrical.

Subcontractor attitude was a significant asset on this project as evidenced when a brief but intense storm blew down 200 feet of temporary construction wall. All subcontractors on site pitched in and assisted with manpower and equipment to minimize lost production time for BMW.
