Graycor's rich history in Northwest Indiana dates back to the company's founding in the early 1920s when it began as a maintenance and demolition contractor serving industrial clients in the region. Since then, Graycor has evolved into the fully integrated provider it is today, offering construction and maintenance services to a broad range of clients within various industries, not only in Northwest Indiana, but across the U.S. as well.

For our Northwest Indiana clients, many of which we have worked with for decades, Graycor Industrial in recent years established a new state-of-the-art operations center and fabrication shop in Portage to allow us proximity to key resources and business partners while continuing to provide quality services to clients in the process (oil and gas), power, metals and gas infrastructure markets.

The Portage facility situated on approximately 10 acres within the AmeriPlex at the Port business/industrial park is located just one mile from I-94 and within close proximity to the Port of Indiana. Strategically located, our Portage facility allows for efficient transport of fabricated components.
