Graycor for Team Breakthrough got muddy with our friends at The Levy Company, running our third annual Tough Mudder in Rockford, Illinois on Saturday, August 25th. Our team’s grit and determination were second to none, aiming high and reaching higher through teamwork.

Our Mudders pushed themselves both on and off the course to make this event a success, raising $46,612 for the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) and surpassing last year’s fundraising record! ABTA is a champion of everyone engaged in the fight against brain tumors, providing support to brain tumor patients, their families and researchers pursuing breakthroughs.

Graycor Community Fund supported our Mudders with a generous matching program, matching the first $10K raised plus a dollar for dollar match of funds raised between the $20K-30K mark.

30 Mudders tackled the 10-mile, 20+ obstacle course, including getting muddy with the Kiss of Mud 2.0, engaging in total teamwork with The Block Ness Monster and forming human pyramids to finish strong on the 25-foot tall Happy Ending obstacle.

A big THANK YOU to all who donated to support this worthy cause!
