Graycor Construction Company recently completed a new Bass Pro Shops store in Cary, North Carolina just west of Raleigh. The new 105,000 square-foot Bass Pro Shops Sportsman’s Center is located at the intersection of I-40 and Harrison Avenue in Cary. Bass Pro Shops, the leading retailer of hunting, fishing, camping and other outdoor recreation gear, operates 85 retail stores and Tracker Marine Centers across America and Canada that are visited by more than 116 million people every year. Bass Pro Shops’ unique exterior and interior motifs are featured in this store, which includes massive log and rock work, a large indoor aquarium stocked with native fish species as well as an extensive collection of museum quality fish and wildlife mounts. Historic photos and exhibits also pay tribute to the region’s great outdoor heritage.

“It is always an enjoyable experience to work on Bass Pro Shops projects,” according to Tim Hanifin, General Manager at Graycor Construction Company. “No two projects are alike and they possess such a high level of retail creativity and enthusiasm. We stayed focused and on plan throughout the project and were able to deliver the project on time while accommodating a significant amount of additional scope toward the project’s completion. We are proud to have played a significant role in the completion of another Bass Pro Shop store.”

Graycor has recently completed five other Bass Pro Shops projects including stores located in Bolingbroook, IL, East Peoria, IL, Nashville, TN, Portage, IN and Spanish Fort, AL, and understands the unique construction acumen required for these one-of-a-kind stores
