Theatre Construction

Graycor provided construction services for this acclaimed three–story, 53,000–square–foot theatre and performing arts center located on Chicago′s near north side. Work included placing of structural steel, concrete and masonry for the complex. The project boasted many unique aspects such as a sophisticated scenery flyloft, state–of–the–art acoustical design, and sound, lighting and dimming systems. A 500–seat auditorium, an orchestra pit, 100–seat experimental theatre, spacious lobbies, rehearsal rooms and offices completed the theatre project.
