Shopping Center Renovation

Orland Park Place Renovation
Client:
Hiffman Shaffer Associates, Inc.
Architect/Engineer:
Teng & Associates, Inc.
Project scope:
When HSA Commercial took Orland Park Place — a declining 750,000–square–foot, two–story regional shopping center — under its redevelopment wing, they brought on Graycor to renovate the nearly vacant mall. Graycor de–malled the center by converting the central portion (424,000 square feet) into separate retail spaces, each with its own outside entrance. Plans also called for the construction of a 94,000–square-foot restaurant and entertainment component.
