Reliant — Aurora

Reliant Energy contracted GSSL joint venture — between Graycor, Sachs Electric Co. and Sargent & Lundy LLC — for the design–build construction of an 870–megawatt, simple–cycle peaker plant in Aurora, IL. Work included installation of 10 combustion turbines, erection and implementation of a control building, installation of massive raw water and denim tanks, site work and civil construction.
