Project Scope

Graycor was the general contractor for the 128,000-square-foot redevelopment of Northridge Mall, an enclosed super-regional mall between Los Angeles and San Jose. The project included the redevelopment of the former two-story JCPenney location at the center of the mall.

The first floor was transformed into a Center Court atrium for new inline retail tenants as well as outward-facing restaurants. Additionally, the center court serves to connect the north and south sides of the mall with its new common corridor. The project will also included a new exterior entrance at to the Center Court

The second floor was converted into a building shell for Round 1, a multi-entertainment activity complex offering bowling, arcade games, billiards, darts, ping pong, food and drinks.

The project also included renovations to all common areas of the mall including, new flooring, upgraded amenities, soft seating, infrastructure upgrades and new planters.

Overall, the redevelopment and renovation projects have enhanced and expanded the mall’s shopping, dining and entertainment experiences for patrons.
