Mall Expansion
Westfield Shoppingtown Southlake Expansion
Client:
Westfield Corporation Architect/Engineer:
OWP&P/Joseph A. Schudt & Associates Project scope:
Graycor Construction completed an expansion of Westfield Shoppingtown Southlake, a 1.28 million–square–foot super–regional mall in Hobart, IN. The multimillion–dollar project expanded the mall′s east end and rerouted major utilities to accomodate its new anchor tenant, Dick′s Sporting Goods. Graycor also connected the building at a 4,600-square-foot entry link structure that allowed for enclosed access to Dickʼs from the existing mall. Aside from Dick's, Graycor reconfigured the large parking area between the two buildings and constructed a connecting road to the adjacent mall while also building pads for the surrounding parking lot, the new Kerasotes Theater and restaurant cluster.
