Kerasotes Roosevelt Place Theatre

The Kerasotes Showplace ICON Theatre at the Roosevelt Collection in Chicago debuted to a full house on December 17, 2009. With distinguished Chicago restaurateur/designer Jerry Kleiner collaborating with the Kerasotes family for The Lobby Lounge, it was no surprise it opened to rave reviews.

The unique “Movies with More Features” concept of a cocktail lounge within a theatre set against the glittering lights of Chicago’s skyline is a hit so far! Attendees to the grand opening were the first to eat, drink and see a movie in the luxury of huge, over-sized loungers in the VIP area.

Chicago-based Kerasotes ShowPlace Theatres LLC selected Graycor Construction to perform the interior build-out of this new 100,000-square-foot, fourth-floor flagship location. The customer-focused design extends beyond the Lobby Lounge to 16 ICON auditoriums with stadium seating and two ICON VIP Premium auditoriums.

As a repeat client, Kerasotes ShowPlace Theatres trusted Graycor Construction to bring to life the feature-packed, high-end design and to meet the demands of the high-tech capabilities needed behind the scenes. Graycor Construction has built several theaters for Kerasotes in recent years throughout Illinois and Indiana.
