Project Scope

JPMorgan Chase Bank called upon Graycor Construction to perform ground-up construction of a new banking facility located in Homewood, Ill., a south suburb of Chicago. The bank’s exterior facade boasts a new unique brick design based on the town’s downtown beautification project and JPMorgan’s new urban style.

The project included site work and construction of a 4,158-square-foot building with an attached four-bay drive-through. Work also included parking facilities, lighting, utilities, landscaping and irrigation. Due to the site’s poor soil conditions, the project team, as well as subcontractors, extended the work day and work week in order to meet the scheduled completion date.
Most recently, Graycor completed construction of a 4,194-square-foot banking facility for Chase in Mesa, Ariz., as well as construction of a 4,374-square-foot facility for Bank One (later acquired by Chase) in Phoenix. Additional past projects include ground-up construction of a new branch bank in Oswego, Ill., as well as tenant interior build-outs of four existing banks in downtown Chicago and one in Norridge, Ill.
