Coal-Handling and Crusher-House Modifications and Upgrades

This project required coal-handling and crusher-house modifications and upgrades. The project scope included installing a new radial stacker and conveyor gallery and expanding the transfer house. Our team also modified the head and tail pulley system to increase the speed of all major conveyor sections. And Graycor assisted in the planning, scheduling and budget development.

Our involvement extended to project management and all constructability issues, as well as the purchase and fabrication of all related structural steel components. The original scope and budget targets were met; however, the schedule had to be extended. Still, Graycor was able to work within client/plant perimeters and revise the schedule to meet critical operating milestones.
