The Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable (NWIBRT), a regional business group dedicated to the continuous improvement of construction and maintenance projects in Northwest Indiana, has recognized Graycor Industrial Constructors for their strong safety performance in the region in 2010.

“Graycor’s long and successful history in Northwest Indiana stems in part from the fact that our steadfast commitment to safety resonates with the heavy industrial owners in the region,” says Director of Safety Randy Hynek. “Like Graycor, these owners understand the vital importance of a genuine commitment to safety, particularly in demanding environments such as steel mills, power plants and refineries.”

 The annual NWIBRT awards are presented to contractors working in the region and are judged on a number of criteria, including having an OSHA recordable injury rate below the national average and low or improving experience modification rates (EMR). This is the third time Graycor has been honored with a NWIBRT safety award. NWIBRT presented the award to Graycor at its annual awards banquet in May.
