Nitti Brothers Team Joins North American Construction Services Provider Graycor to create New Division 

Chicago, Ill. (November 18, 2010) — Graycor Construction Company Inc., a leading North American construction services provider, announced today the formation of Nitti Graycor, a division of Graycor Construction. The new division, led by former executives of Nitti Brothers Construction, will specialize in commercial and institutional projects throughout Arizona, targeting a variety of markets including assisted living, corporate office, distribution and logistics, institutional, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and retail. The new division is also expected to bolster Graycor Construction’s distribution center capabilities across North America.

The Nitti Brothers team has decades of construction industry experience covering a wide variety of projects. The newly launched team pairs Nitti’s Arizona expertise and local relationships with Graycor’s 90-year history, financial stability and bonding capacity, forming a resource that will fulfill the full range of construction needs for clients. 

“The decision to join Graycor was done with careful consideration, both professionally and personally, and we are very pleased to be joining the ranks of a solid, highly reputable firm,” said Ray Nitti, who has been appointed to lead the new division. 

Graycor Construction initially worked with Nitti and his team on a joint venture for Home Depot’s 466,000-square-foot rapid deployment distribution center in Tolleson for Atlanta-based owner Seefried Industrial Properties Inc. and San Antonio-based USAA Real Estate Co. (Seefried’s joint venture partner). 

“They (Nitti) are top-notch builders and we are excited to have them join us,” said Dave McAllen, president, Graycor Construction. Since establishing an office in Phoenix in 2002, Graycor Construction has completed a variety of projects in the assisted living, hospitality and retail markets.
