Bass Pro Shops Taps Graycor Construction to Lead Restoration After Nashville Flood Devastation
Nashville, Tenn., (July 2010) — Bass Pro Shops, America’s most popular outdoor store, contracted with Graycor Construction Company for the rehabilitation of its 135,000 square foot anchor retail location in Opry Mills Shopping Center, Nashville, Tenn. Authorities and mall owners closed the mall in May 2010 after torrential storms and flooding of the Cumberland River devastated the city.
Bass Pro Shops secured a permit in June 2010 to begin repairs. Graycor Construction Company Inc., a long-time trusted construction partner for Bass Pro Shops, quickly mobilized available subcontractor teams and resources from a nearby project recently completed for Volkswagen in Chattanooga to Nashville to initiate the project.
