The Graycor team ran its second annual Tough Mudder in Rockford, Illinois on Saturday, August 26th. Through the spirit of teamwork on and off the course, all members of Graycor for Team Reeve completed the race and raised $44,789 for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, breaking Graycor’s previous fundraising record. The Reeve Foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis.
The team’s grit and determination came into play for the run, with 39 team members collectively covering 280 miles and besting several obstacles, including a 32.1 degree ice bath.
Thank you to all of the brave and dedicated mudders who joined the cause and made this event a success and a special THANK YOU to all of those who donated and helped us raise funds for our cause.
