As part of Bighorn Constructors, Graycor Industrial completed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work on  Reliant Energy′s 548-megawatt combined-cycle power plant to serve the  surrounding region. The project involved installation of two combustion  turbines, one steam turbine, two heat-recovery steam generators, an air-cooled  condenser and a switchyard.

Bighorn Constructors is a joint venture between  managing partner Graycor Industrial, and partners Sachs Electric Co., Sargent  & Lundy and Murphy Company Mechanical Contractors & Engineers. To  conserve the area′s scarce water resources, the facility uses dry-cooling  technology with clean-burning natural gas as the sole fuel source.
