GCCI Expands Phoenix Area Office to Meet U.S. Southwestern Growth Demands

PHOENIX, ARIZ., January 20, 2006 — McLean, Va.-based Sunrise Development Inc. recently awarded Homewood-Ill.-based Graycor Construction Co. Inc. (GCCI) construction of Sunrise Assisted Living of Chandler, a new senior living facility to be located approximately 15 minutes southeast of Phoenix. Graycor Construction, a subsidiary of Graycor, broke ground on the project early this month and expects to reach final completion in late 2006. Work includes constructing three single-story buildings totaling 56,700 square feet. The assisted living facility will house 75 units. 

Responding to increasing client demand in the U.S. southwestern region, Graycor Construction recently relocated its Tempe, Ariz., office to office space located at 668 North 44th St., in Phoenix. The new space will better accommodate Graycor’s growing Phoenix-based staff. The company’s southwestern regional office was previously operated by Capitol Construction, which was acquired by Graycor in 2002. Capitol Construction has since been completely integrated into the Graycor companies’ family.
