As President, Dave is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the overall operations of Graycor Construction Company. Dave champions company resources to lead strategic planning, continuous improvement, business development efforts for the commercial markets across throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico, provides senior management leadership and deploys the necessary resources to ensure client satisfaction through Graycor’s value added services. With a deep commitment to continuous improvement, Dave’s vision for the company is to create an environment that promotes employee development through mentoring talent and performance management, best practices and business excellence. In 1991, Dave joined Inland Construction (predecessor to Graycor Construction Company Inc.) as an engineer and has held roles of increasing responsibility including assistant project manager, project manager, senior project manager, general manager, vice president and senior vice president. Dave earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Civil Engineering from Bradley University.
Vice President, General Manager (Retail + Entertainment)
As General Manager of Graycor's Retail & Entertainment market, Tim oversees a team of dedicated construction professionals providing preconstruction and construction services to the nation's leading real estate developers, retailers and theatre operators. During his 20-year career at Graycor, Tim has held a series of increasingly responsible positions including project engineer, project manager, senior project manager and construction manager and has spent the majority of his career on the core project types of shopping center redevelopments and renovations. Tim earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural) from Northwestern University.
Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager, John is responsible for supporting Graycor Construction Company’s market leaders by identifying and developing new business opportunities for growth of the company’s commercial markets across broad geographies. He supports the leadership team through evaluating business strategies and establishing timely market plans. John mentors Graycor’s senior management leadership helping to inspire a great development acumen for realizing new business opportunities and growing established relationships. In 2000, John joined Graycor Construction and leverages more than 20 years of professional sales achievements since earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from the University of Kentucky.
Vice President, Estimating
Tim joined Graycor Construction in 2002 and serves as Vice President of Estimating. Bringing more than 35 years of estimating experience, Tim’s expertise in preconstruction, pre-planning, estimating, value management, constructability reviews, procurement and logistics planning ensure clients meet their budgetary goals while achieving design intent. Tim manages Graycor’s team of estimators to ensure seamless delivery of preconstruction services that results in detailed, accurate and complete estimates on every project. Tim earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Michigan State University.
Construction Manager, Chicago Market Leader
Steve joined Graycor Construction Company in 1999 and serves as Construction Manager and Chicago Market Leader. With more than 22 years of construction industry experience, Steve has managed projects in the corporate office, government, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, solar and retail industries for clients such as Advocate Healthcare, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, BP, Marriott, CVS/pharmacy, Walgreens, Urban Retail Properties and Westfield Corporation. Furthermore, as Graycor’s Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Lean Champion, Steve spearheads the firm’s Lean initiatives including company-wide training on Lean techniques. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois, a LEED Accredited Professional and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Valparaiso University
Business Excellence Manager
As the Business Excellence Manager, Michelle leads the Business Excellence program for Graycor Construction Company. Her main focus is improving the company’s overall business processes—The Graycor Way, a Continuous Improvement Process—to deliver higher value to our clients and stakeholders. Michelle also leads and implements Graycor’s Quality program on all projects nationwide. Michelle has more than 12 years of successful achievements in the construction industry with international experience working across the U.S. and Mexico. Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University Autonomous of Ciudad Juarez (Mexico), completed advanced graduate studies in Company-wide Quality and Productivity Management in the Central Japan Industries Association in Nagoya, Japan and holds a Masters in Construction Project Management from the University of Manchester in England, UK. Michelle is a certified Manager of Quality/ Organizational Excellence by the American Society of Quality (ASQ).
