Graycor Industrial constructed a 300-megawatt, natural gas-fired power generation facility for the Calumet Energy Project at in Chicago. Calumet Energy LLC is a partnership between Wisvest Corporation (a subsidiary of Wisconsin Energy Corporation), SkyGen Energy LLC and Roy F. Weston Inc. Siemens Westinghouse Power Corporation provided engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services. Graycor was hired by Siemens as the general contractor for all site and construction work, design of various project components and purchase of select construction equipment.
