Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. recently awarded an environmental controls retrofit project near Clifton Hill, located in northern Missouri. The fast-track project, which began in November 2006 and is slated for January 2008 completion, consists of installing two air heaters and two selective catalytic reduction (SCR) units; demolishing and rebuilding an existing electrostatic precipitator; and performing associated ductwork, structural steel, and insulation and jacketing.
