Graycor’s work included installation of new signage, lighting and uniform 12-foot canopies, which increases the retailers’ storefront visibility while preserving the style of the center’s original 1962 design. The existing crossover canopies, which currently allow pedestrians to cross from one building to another with overhead protection, were replaced with taller architecturally exposed structural steel (AESS) and glass skylights. Additionally, existing terra cotta planter caps were upgraded to lower-maintenance granite caps.
